The Cutting Cafe: Tissue Box - Caja de pañuelos

Today I bring a very practical job with two files of The Cutting Cafe, the flowers and the box of handkerchiefs. What better time to need it now that the cold and colds come! They are called "Tissue Box Cover Set" and "Layered Flowers". You have the links in their names.

After composing the box following the instructions of the file, I lined it with decorated paper to which I applied a layer of very liquefied gesso. Then I inked with pink and blue acrylics, very lightly so that it only gave me color in several areas.
Once dry everything, I stuck a wide lace with white glue and on it I used a template with text on it to put white texture paste. Next I inked the paste with Distress Oxide Faded Jeans.

To finish my decoration I used the set of flowers, I formed them in several sizes and I glued them to my box on the side where the main phrase is: "Always remember the beautiful moments".

I thank you for leaving me.

In addition, when choosing the colors of the base papers and the rest of the decoration, I was thinking about the "Subida al Desván" of the group "El Desván del Arte" of facebook in which we had to follow this color palette. Although it is little appreciated by the gesso that I put, the papers with which I lined my box have the emerald green or  turquoise of the image. The tulle replaced it with lace and the rose there is present with the flowers.

¡Hasta pronto!
See you soon!
